LGS have concrete barriers?

My LGS has steel/concrete bollards across the entire front of the store. It now has decorative, iron bars too, because of a break-in during the Michael Brown riots. They smashed the front window with cinder blocks, got in the store, but did not have time to smash their way into the anti-theft display cases in the store. The whole thing, from seeing the car on the video to the time they fled was a total of 150 seconds. Once they figured out it would take too much time to break into the cases they booked. The police response time was like a minute and a half later, but they missed them.

I think I heard the perps were part of a ring and were picked up in Colorado pulling the same shit a few weeks/months later.

The Cabelas in the south of town here had a pickup driven through the front door and a group walked out with whatever guns they could grab in about 90 seconds. They now have reinforced the entrances and while it looks almost like it did, you can tell they’ve beefed up the vulnerable areas.

that was done years ago to my cousin’s gun shop. and another gunshop in La Crosse, wi (monsoor’s). it was asian gangs out of the twin cities.
super shitty deal for the shop owners. not only do they get their store busted up; but then their inventory is tied up as evidence (if recovered) until post trial.

i laugh at folks who think they’re going to get rich selling guns.

I didn't know that even the police use cement. It even sounds a little funny to me; I don't know why exactly. I think that after all, such obstacles for cars are the most powerful and dangerous at the same time. I encountered cement only once when I wanted to fill the path leading to the house from my garage on my own. I didn't succeed, and I had to look for professionals urgently. Thank God the neighbors advised me the company www.concretecontractorsdallastx.com/. These guys did everything just perfectly and even designed the track itself to make it look more beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
