Wonder why ammo prices just skyrocketed?

NPR radio just ran a piece that praised the John Brown Gun Club and Antifa.

Paramilitary organizations are now the darlings of the liberal media because they are fighting Trump’s “Stormtroopers”.

Liberals want to do battle with the fed “Gestapo”.
 
As long as it's against Trump, all is well in their world. Notice the media isn't saying jack shit about the "assault rifles" or "high capacity magazines" any of the "peaceful protesters" have?

But when actual peaceful protesters were wanting to re-open businesses... the news was calling them assault rifles and gun fanatics, etc.

guns are a novelty for them...an amulet of false bravado....and they are in for a rude awakening once they realize a gun doesnt make you superman.

and just as we have the right to own firearms so do they . except we don't go around shooting each other while they seem to think its what they should do so stupid is as stupid does . also they are paying crazy high prices for those items if they can even get them in there states going to be a big sale after all this is said and done at deep discounts .

See, its been my experience that while liberals may have some more socialist type tendencies they still appreciate 2A and its intentions.

I’m just glad these leftists know that a whole 50-round box of ammo through their newly acquired weapon, fired at a inanimate paper target at 3-yds makes them expert marksmen and ready to take on the world.

I put a post up maybe 3 months ago about this on my very street. Neighbors wife has made so many asinine passive aggressive comments to me about hunting/shooting over the years I just smile and chuckle. Husband asked me about AR's when chinavirus spiked then came back to me a month later and bought one. Now both he AND his wife have CWP's and Glock 19s. True limousine liberals....do as I say not as I do. In the end if they are this motivated maybe they will think a bit more at the voting station when they lean for a Biden cabinet with a guy who says he is actually coming for your guns.

On the west coast most classes are booked to the limit with mostly first time gun owners of the left leaning varieties. I’d say a majority are taking this pretty seriously. On the bright side most of what I hear from the instructors is it’s a bunch of Karen’s afraid of the police going away so that’s a good thing IMHO.
 
I had an old business contact I've done work who was a far Left Obama / Hillary supporter who has his widescreen channel JB Welded to CNN that he keeps broadcasting 14 hours a day. (I built a fireplace for him and he kept it on all day when he was gone just to try and fuck with or brainwash me). He lives in a mansion overlooking Austin which he's from and loves.

Anyway, he called me recently asking if it was legal to remove the plug from his only gun, a shotgun, so he could get more shells in.
He also asked where he could buy ammo, as everywhere he checked was sold out.

I tried to tell this guy ten years ago he needs at least one AR15, mags and 1k of ammo. He's Jewish and I told him he, more than anyone, should have learned his lesson from history not to be a defenseless sheep.

I have more expensive AR's that are tacticool'd but my most practical ones are a pair of PSA 10.5's, both fitted with RRA retuned Match triggers and one with rail and RD. The KISS may be my favorite as it's quick, handy, laser accurate and rides with me everywhere.

I have had exactly the same interaction with several as well. I always thought it was just me. I came to the conclusion that they project their mental incompetence and lack of responsibility on everyone else assuming they are the same. This easily explains most of their decision making and voting habits.

i am far from a liberial but I like buying guns , why should they not also like buying guns ? I enjoy buying ammo well most of the time , So should most americans citizens who can't make there own yet . 6 million estimated gun owners in America out of 320 million people we need more legal gun owners in the country 160million would be a nicer number or 280 million would be a wonderful blessing from god :eek: watch the snowflakes wet them self then when they talk about taking away our guns then . I still think its more like 50 guys owning 90 % of the guns in the country lol but I heard there are something like 6 million .
According to the NRA, their membership reached 5.5 million total members in 2018 and that is from the nations largest recording body for guns owners now I have no idea with the numbers that left them to go to another group or groups militias or what not I can only hope that number is much larger but there is no convention that everyone goes to or attends but that is the number listed as of 2018 if it ain't growing then its dying .
