Gunsmithing Lift Away and Krylon Camo paint?

Will this stuff take Krylon camo off:
USO ST10, Remington PSS without damaging the manufacturer coatings?

Going back to basic black just because

Can't answer on the graffiti remover or the stock,
but for the scope and metal, have you tried acetone?
It's worked well for me for krylon and duracoat in conjuction with some "elbow grease"

You would be hard pressed to take the anodizing off of a USO! The stock is another question.

I think he means the camo is on the uso and the rifle. There is a thread around here where someone did just that with before and after pics.

Just removing paint from the barrelled action and scope. The A5 will take a rough in with whatever Kelly recommends. Basic black or dark greyis where I will end up when finished with the thing

I have used this numerous times on optics, stocks, lens covers and anything else someone can coat with krylon.
On optics I cover the lenses with cotton then use blue tape to seal them off.
This stuff is like a gel.
On a scope apply liberally to the entire item to be stripped covering everything generously. Then stick it in a plastic bag (wal mart sack etc.) and roll it up.
Check back in an hour, the krylon should be loose, then scrape it off with a PLASTIC putty knife.
If the paint is still hard, using the stripper already applied, just wrap it back up for another hour.
If you are going to do a whole stock use a full size garbage bag or saran wrap.
When you get all the paint loose just wash/rinse in cool water.
I just did this to a Vari X II gloss finish and an HS Precision last week and they both look like they did the day they left the factory.

The 3M won't mess with the McMillan 'glass at all? I would hate to screw up a nice stock that I have come to love

Not unless you leave it on to long.
It is very mild, but works amazingly well.
The trick is to wrap it up well so that it stays wet.
If you want to be sure test it on another piece of fiberglass.
I have used it on HS stocks with no ill effects.

Dick Davis from McMillan says (paraphrasing here) 'we do not recommend the use of any strippers on our stocks. simply sand lightly over the old paint and repaint it'

OT: The beer? Had some Sierra Neveda Stout the other night, and Panty 6 brought in some Woodchuck Green Apple Johnny Jump Up last night that was pretty good after our first trip to Zaxby's
