Nice to have or must have or do not like for hunting?

I found it to be a must have for the hunting that I do

Mainly for a FFP reticle. Not so important for a SFP reticle. Especially a duplex or larger reticle design

The only time I have ever used illumination was hunting.
And very rarely, first and last legal shooting light and overcast days with animals in shadow of trees and brush it's nice to have.

I think I've used it once or twice for hunting. Not a must have by any means for me. But most of my scopes have it.

Fantastic when shooting near dusk with a FFP scope with the power backed down. Makes what would otherwise be a useless tiny reticle visible once again.

I don't hunt but use my illumination at matches. Works great to make the reticle stand out against shot up steel or steel in darker areas.

It is a very nice feature to have.I do not use it often but when I do need it I am happy I have it.
