Rifle Scopes Lightest 1" picatinny scope rings on the market?

EGW's Practical Aluminum rings are about as streamlined as it gets. They weigh 2.5oz

They are permanent style rings though, that's a bit of a bummer.

I don't mind them being permanent, but I HATE rings that screw together at the top. Talk about a giant pain in the arse when mounting and leveling. Never again for me! But those sure are light...

You could really shave the weight if you aren't committed to a picatinny base. If I remember correctly, Talley Lightweights are under 3 ounces. That in addition to eliminating the base will definitely be your lightest route. There may be someone producing a decent 2 piece mount that is even lighter than the Talley....

I briefly used Warne ultra high Maxima 1" QD rings on an AR. The scope I was using worked out ok without needing cantilever mounting. That set of rings was noticeably lighter than the subsequent ADM mount I used later. I liked them quite a bit, though they were demos and the previous user stripped some screw holes.

I also have a Leupold Mk2 cantilever 1" mount that seems fairly light, I'm guessing its one of the lighter 1piece AR mounts out there. Kinda wished I had weighed all the mounts and rings while they were off, just for the heck of it..
