Anyone run a lil bastard on a 308 ar? I am building a 18" 308 hog killer and trying to decide on parts. I want something to reduce muzzle flip for faster follow ups.

There are a ton of people who run them. Myself included. They are super awesome. They are loud though and have a lot of concussion. Also great for the AR-10

any break that works amplifies or re directs noise to places I dont like. But boy do they work reduce recoil. Lots of good options out tthere I used to use the Miculek. It is obnoxious.

I have started hunting with my MSA Sordin ear pro on. They are fantastic. I swear I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. Not only helps hearing animals etc., but preserves what little heating I have left. Makes so much sense now.

Sorry for the derail.

I dont run surpressed so its all loud when the shooting starts. The important thing is getting back on target quick. I started wearing electronic ear protection anyway. I am so deaf I can hear better wearing them then not.

I've been told that the muzzle brake that came with my silencer is loud and that if I go to the range to tell the range staff that I'll be shooting it so I get the VIP treatment. In other words the lane reserved for the large bore rifles at the end of the range because they got complaints about how loud it was and it's only a 308. I can only imagine what a brake like the Little bastard would do. LOL
