I've got a couple of rifles in Bravo stocks and thought it would be nice to have a matching 22LR. It's made it a cool little rifle.

I machined a new backbone to suit and an Arca rail, it just needs a long action forend shell for a bit more clearance on the mag release lever.

krg makes a stock for the lithgow la101 or you custom inletted one for it?
Yep, I made a whole new backbone to suit the Lithgow. I could swap it back to a Remington 700 in 10 minutes with a couple of allen keys. I had to trim the front plastic a bit to fit the mag release but a long action forend would fix that.

Too bad those LA101s are north of $1200 US and still need a suitable stock for precision work.

By them time you're into one with a suitable stock, you could almost buy two Bergara B-14Rs or a B-14R barreled action, a Bravo Chassis, and a decent scope, base, and rings.

The best price I've seen is AU$1175 (US$850) here for the synthetic stocked Lithgow. I'd like a Bergara when they get the left hand ones here. I might have a look at using the Bergara magazines, that's one thing that could be an improvement.
