I already started a new build and i currently have a pof 12.5 as my duty rifle and i love it but the bulky rail kinda bothers me. Im looking at the LMT CQB MRP 10.5 setup but i want to do a piston conversion on it. Will the adams arms kit work?

Thanks
Anthony

Re: LMT MRP CQB 10.5 piston conversion?

Why would you want to cut up an MRP to install an Adams Arms kit? Sounds like a mistake to me.

I have two MRPs (one set up with a 12.5" LMT piston and the other as a 10.5" DI), and an Adams Arms upper (the 7.5" PWS "kitty-cat"), so I can probably answer any question you have about 'em.

no no i would not want to cut it up. I want a 10.5" piston setup on my mrp and was curious if the adams arms would fit under the rail. But i think you answered my question though since you mentioned cutting up the mrp. So im assuming it wont fit unless i hack up the rail.

Re: LMT MRP CQB 10.5 piston conversion?

Buy the LMT MRP and leave it alone. Do not put the piston kit in unless you find a reason to do it. I have run thousands of rounds through my mrps with minimal cleaning as I don't have anyone shooting back with no significant issues. It is a real machine. If you need a piston, buy the LMT.

Re: LMT MRP CQB 10.5 piston conversion?

I currently own a pof piston gun and have nothing but positive things to say. Im selling the upper though because im looking for a different length upper and will buy another pof. I bought the lmt mrp cqb upper in 12.5 piston setup but i plan on getting a noveske stainless 10.5 converted and running that as well. thanks for your input much appreciated.
