Lmt mws barrel conversion sleeve

I keep hearing about the sleeve that goes over standard ar10 barrels for an mws. Does anyone have a picture of one converted? Are guys press fitting the sleeve on or are the barrels threaded and the sleeve is screwed on and butted up to the barrel extension?

This company is working on LMT MRP barrel conversions.

It's my understanding that they plan on support the MWS as well.

Nefarious arms converted a normal ar10 barrel to fit a mws for me. Pretty quick turn around for last year.

A buddy and I converted a Krieger barrel to use in my MWS. Factory barrel on top, converted on the bottom. When asked if he would be willing to convert another the response was something along the lines of ""

It’s not too hard - I just don’t have the machinery anymore. The best sleeve material is exactly what the barrel is made out of. Then press it on with a press.

I would make a jig for the cross cut.

You can also use seamless tubing like this 4140 thick wall.
