Load development and barrel speeding up

So quick question when developing a new load for a brand new barrel. I know we are looking for a node. I've developed several using the ladder test and found definite nodes. Some are now calling it a velocity node that we are looking for. Not just barrel harmonics. My question is that some or maybe all barrels speed up or settle in after 100-150 rounds through them. So when do you develop a load? If I develop a load and then 75 rounds later my barrel speeds up am I still good? thanks

I put 100rds down the barrel then start load development. If your just replacing a barrel with same caliber you can find your node pretty quickly testing up and down from your existing load.

I just meassure the velocity of the barrel when is new, then I start shooting anything with it meassuring the velocity every 25 shots more or less. When the barrel speeds up (usually at around 100 rounds) I start doing load development.

Ok thanks. The several loads I have developed where all on barrels with more than 100 rounds on them when I started load development. I shot out a 6.5 creed barrel and got a new one spun on. I was wondering the process starting from scratch. I'm also about to build a Dasher for my kiddos. That one sounds easy enough, I can fire form brass until barrel settles in.
