Re: LoadBase 3 and Verizon HTC Trophy smartphone

I actually did e-mail them twice. I'm surprised I didn't get an answer back.
I use Verizon for my mobile. There's not a lot of phones which use their OS. Would be really cool if they also wrote an interface for the Droid OS. I also asked them about that.

Re: LoadBase 3 and Verizon HTC Trophy smartphone

Williamb, I'm working on a WP7 ballistics calculator. It will be released fairly soon. I've been waiting for the Windows Phone 7.5 update (Mango) to roll out. Verizon is supposed to upgrade your Trophy on Sept. 27.

Having used a WP7 phone for seven months now and owning an iPod Touch (basically the iPhone without the phone), I'm very pleased with WP7. Aside from being quite usable, performance on my app when compared to Ballistic on a new iPhone 4 is twice as fast and 4X faster than on my Touch. Ballistic was programmed by a guy who's written books on programming the iPhone so it's not like he doesn't know what he's doing. But Microsoft has done a better job of optimizing performance for underpowered mobile processors.
