Yea, I just wondering how much harder the 10th click is, and also if the locking turrets are easily locked. It would be distracting if they keep falling down into the lock position accidentally.
Also, what do you mean not being easy to turn?</div></div>
I saw a video of the MTC locking turrets from a SB stand at SHOT2012 and from the looks if it, they turrets definitely would not fall down while you were shooting. It looks like you need a good amount of pressure to lock/unlock the turrets.
I actually just got a new SB with MTC and hence I've been fiddling around with the MTC for a while and I like them alot, but its significantly harder to turn the turret from something like 2.0 to 2.1 or 1.9 than it is to turn from say 2.3 to 2.4 or 2.2 due to the heavier detents. Granted, thats just from me holding the scope free hand (I dont have a gun to mount it on yet). </div></div>
the locking mechanism is pretty stout, it's not going to move by itself. i must admit, having a locking mechanism on your windage does have some appeal after thinking about it. the mtc turrets have that deeper click as mentioned. in all these scopes, the mtc, the locking turret model, and the standard turret model, you pretty much have to be trying to move it to get it moving.
