Movie Theater Logan

Based on the trailer alone, it looks to be the best of the Wolverine series. I'm curious as to where it fits in the time line, as in pre or post Days of Future's Past.

It is too long, decent story, and way too loud. They over did the "R" rating with too many F bombs. I am not a prude but it just kind of beats you to death. In all event, it is a good movie worth watching which closes a chapter and opens another.

I really liked the movie but wasn't blown away like ratings would have you believe. There was just too little exposition on why everything was the way it was. Why was logan dying? where had all the mutants gone? Did charles kill them as he eludes to? why is wolverine so depressed other than the mutants dying? Is it something else?

And then what is probably the weakest point of the movie for me is the last act.

The adamantium was poisoning him. His healing factor was why they were able to implant it into him and X-23/Laura.

I haven't seen it yet, but the word is Jackman is getting done with the Wolverine role because of the frustration and lack of clarity with the time lines. He wanted his role to be more like the avengers series, with each movie continuing and building on the last. I like the X-men, but their timelines did get fucked badly. Eacch movie feels like it is almost stand alone.

I liked the movie. Dipped a little more into the human side of struggle. As for timelines the entire Wolverine series is multidimensional, but I think Logan was a good transition. Curious if it was Alpha Flight on the other side.

It's definitely the best Wolverine movie and possibly the best X-men movie IMHO, though i'm a huge Wolverine fan. It's grown on me since i saw hit. Though i'm still hoping there is a directors cut with a little more exposition.
