Long shot: Is there any tool out there to attach to a drill

so you can chuck up a 223/6.5 piece of brass to by the base of the cartridge?
I know the century 21 brass lathe will but just looking for a drill attachment.

Yes. Part of the Lee trimmer is a shell holder that grabs cases by the base and chucks up in a drill.

Not sure if the Lee 3 jaw chuck was the tool mentioned above, but it will do what you want.

I've had and used one for at least 20 years and it works as good as new.

It was not. I didn't know they had one that did multiple sizes of case heads. It's been a long time since I even thought about trimming brass with one of those tourcherous bastards.

I tend to use mine for turning necks. I don't buy a lot of Lee products, but this tool is one I won't be without.

No, I wouldn't trim necks with the Lee tool either.
