I got my Thumlers Model B tumbler today, but I was at work...

Here is the FEDEX delivery man's solution for hiding the package so that nobody sees it.

FYI no joke this is how it was:

Its hard to see, but its under the doormat.

Every time I get the feeling society as a whole is growing less intelligent, something like this reminds me it's all in my head.

It's a good thing dude isn't a sniper...He'd be hard to spot.

I wouldn't worry too much thought at least it's in Chicago, there's never any crime there...in fact people there don't even need handguns.

UPS isn't any better.... Box of Narcotics, requires adult signature, supposedly a guy trimming tree for the elec company signed for it and the driver left it on the porch behind something... I never saw it, but when the badges came out it was from his hand to mine in under 30min... before that it was a new digital camera, in a trash bag, tied to the fence... and on and on

I've never had problems because usually everything ships to my work, and I'm always there, but this time I wasnt able to do so and this is the result. hahaha.

from the street straight on or from sidewalk its invisible, lol. nice effort. i tell all my drivers to put a blank sticker on my door and toss it im my bronco. tops off, beds exposed. ill know to look there when i see the sticker on the door

Even with a large hedge blocking my front porch, FedEx still drops my packages on the part in full view to the street. Can't fix stupid...

I've had many a package left like that, and my doormat is smaller. At least for thinner packages, they'll put it between the screen door and front door, so it isn't really visible.

I did exactly that ! I had made a wood box because a dog got into my Powder, So I called FedEx and explained to them what to do. Well I came home and found a box of powder on top of the the wood box??? The next shipment of powder was sitting beside it... well it was all over my carport floor. the dog got into the powder. 4 8lb. kegs of VV powder. FedEx ended up buying a total of 6 8lb kegs of powder, because the driver could not open a wood box that is labeled FEDEX DELIVERIES PUT IN BOX.

thats funny. a couple weeks back they delivered my 56" one piece cleaning rod with it laying perfectly up in the corner of my front porch. it blended in so well with the paint i walked past it twice before i even noticed it.
but then again i have had them back up into my yard and pitch out some leaf springs in the lawn and drive off, because they didnt want to pack them to the door.

Better than the UPS guy I have. He likes to update my packages as delivered 3 hours before they actually are and delivers them at 10pm. Usually see him chatting on the phone in the parking lot 3 blocks from my house when I'm coming home from work.

Rifles from Century come in 5 packs, and if the FFL guy is not home, UPS guy puts then between the screen door and the front door.

And that is in a bad neighborhood. The only saving grace is the boxes are so hard to move.

I used to live in a fairly high-end apartment complex. One day I came home and there was my $1600 varmint rifle(in a box, of course) leaning up against my door.

After that I started checking at the UPS hub when I had a boomdinger coming in.

One the whole, Fedex and Big Brown have done right by me.

I called Fedex once to explain that I had an order of 960 rds. of 30-06 coming. I was assured they would not deliver without an adult signature. But when I came back to town after a long weekend, it had been sitting on the front porch for three days...ORM-D and Adult Signature Required stickers all over the crates. Wouldn't have been hard for anyone to guess what was inside so I just got lucky.

I keep a mailbox at a locally owned "mailboxes etc" kind of place that I use for most of my deliveries, especially if it will need a signature or it is something I don't want left outside.

Guy I know from a cigar site ordered a replacement for a small electronic part for a humidification system.

UPS tracking says, left by driveway at 1300, at 1700 when he got home there was a couple of feet of new wet snow. I'm not sure if he found it before spring.
