hello, I am looking for a m14 stock (synthetic, not wood).
a classic one (no sage EBR, or others sci-fi items)

tacticalcity.com seems to have beautiful ones (from mac milan) but I would have to wait for 6 months

which shop would you advise?

Re: lookinf dor m14 stock

You might check with JW Precision. I don't know if he stocks M14 stocks or not, but he does have a pretty wide selection of McMillan stocks. I tried to look for you but work internet is not allowing it.

By the way, I've got a McMillan M1A stock and really like it. For what it's worth, I think you're on the right track. Good luck.

Re: lookinf dor m14 stock

I have one of the black springfield armory M1a stocks in very good condition,if you are interested send me a pm.

Ok first of all learn to spell the title of this thread sais enough. Second the EBR and "Others" are not sci-fi items but rather great engineering.

Strangedays, I suspect English is not his first language. My guess is you might misspell a few words in French

.

Re: lookinf dor m14 stock

As Steve pointed out, try Fred's for a GI synthetic stock. The only downside is that his service is hit and miss - you may end up waiting a couple of months for him to actually ship it, or you may get it next week. I've ordered from him a few times, and always received beautiful, better than expected, wood stocks. I think the quickest turnaround was a few weeks, though.

If you're looking for a McMillan, the good news is that their ship times seem to have come WAY down. I ordered one of their M1A stocks for a rear-lug receiver on October 8th, and had it in my hands December 15th...

Stick to English, my Hebrew is way worse than your English

Good luck with the 14 project. I left mine in the fiberglass GI stock, even after it had been worked over by GAP.

Sorry about that. I was going to write the whole thing out in a smart ass way with everything miss-spelled and changed my mind but didn't fix my grammer, lol.

Re: lookinf dor m14 stock

beautifull set up Triad, I hope mine will be similar very soon.
Finally got my stock for about 70$ (and I am waiting th scope and few little things) before making some photos

Re: lookinf dor m14 stock

USGI synthetic was pretty sci-fi when they first appeared...

Find yourself a nice tight fitting USGI synthetic M14 stock, reinforce the fore end and call it a day.
