Santa came early and brought me a Springfield XD Mod 2 9mm 4inch service model, with Grip Zone in a Gear Up special which includes five magazines and some extra junk I won't use. Also a We The People OWB holster which I'm not really sold on. I'm a lefty so somewhat limited in selection.
Considering a G Code OSH with a paddle but no experience there. Don't want leather, don't like IWB especially for a almost full sized handgun, and don't want to keep buying and not being happy with a box full of holsters gathering dust.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I usually prefer leather, but recently needed to carry a RMR Glock 19 without the long lead time of my favorite leathersmith. I discovered Dara Holsters, who made a pair of kydex holsters quite quickly, as in just a few days. An IWB for carry and a OWB for practice/ competition. They were able to accommodate some custom features, such as suppressor height sights and extended mag release. Very reasonable pricing. I was really pleased and will use them again. I had never heard of the company, just found it with a Google search.
I was particularly happy that they offered pull-the-dot belt loops for the IWB, which I've always preferred over clips or solid loops.

I recommend Dara as well.

Another choice I like is Concealment Express .

Garrett Industries "Silent Thunder".

Absolutely my favorite for comfort and concealing.

Sweet kydex so it serves as a gun dumpster and leather lined to protect the gun finish and prevent all that kydex noise.

You can get a variety of backer plates to fit what ever your needs are.

I even run a 1911 holster on a training belt with GCode hardware......

I use the GCode with a paddle for range shooting but I wouldnt use it for regular carry- it sticks out a bit far.

I actually use the Garrett above for my AIWB carry but they make an OWB too. Its a great holster-

I have accepted your explanation. The GCode is a flexible carry holster, but it is not comfortable for regular use.

Uncle mikes makes a sweet rig that won't break the bank.

Completely joking......

I think raven concealment used to make some low print owb holsters but I can't seem to find a link. Hugged tight to the body but not too tight.
