If all you can afford it the Bushnell, do the best you can with it and you will probably be pretty impressed. </div></div>
+1. It takes more than just good glass to make the shot, so don't feel bad at all if you go Bushnell.</div></div>
+2. Ive shot rifles that had much much less than the Bushnell you are talking about and it takes a whole lot more than state of the art glass to make the shot. For 95% of the time, or more, that the military has employed job 1 snipers, the scopes that were used would be considered inferior if put up for comparison on this forum. BUT...many many many important shots have been made with STANDARD type scopes versus todays big name big money scopes!
With that said, I still want the clearest most durable scope that i can get for my money. There are scopes out there that are way over priced and maybe you should look at the Vortex Viper series as well as Viper PST. The 6-24x50 PST is $750 in a few places around the net. Get on a waiting list and you should have your scope with in a few weeks now as when i spoke with Vortex direct they are pretty confident they would be out in the near near future. Im on the list for two of them as i believe they will be a TON of scope for the relatively small price.
Sorry about the long post and good luck to you on your scope purchase.
