I am looking for a scope for M25 build. I am currently running a Nightforce 2.5-10x32 but was looking to get a little more magnification. However, I'd like to keep thing compact with something with less than a 50mm objective. I'd like top end magnification around 15X. My price range would be around $1500. The only scope I can think of is the March 3-24, however that's a pretty penny, and I don't like the size of the reticle. I have a SS 5-20 and I think the .05 mil reticle is a little on the thick side so the .1 mil thickness on the march may be difficult to live with.
I would definitely look for something mil/mil although FFP is not required.
A few I've considered are:
S&b 4-16X42, $$$ and even though it's 42mm it's not small
Weaver 3-15X50 emdr, bought one but it made the rifle top heavy and looked funny due to size of objective.
IOR 3-18x42, too heavy and would prefer 30mm
Can anyone think of any options besides the March? I'm not that familiar with the USO line. Do they offer something that may work?
