    Try this.

BC Flip Up Cap Sizing Chart

I don't see this chart around much anymore, I pulled one out of an old SWFA catalog quite some time ago and kept it at my work bench where it has come in handy more than once. There's no need for rulers or calipers, just set the scope, flashlight, set of binos or whatever on the chart and see what lines up the closest. The original is pretty torn up but I managed to scan and convert it into a pdf so that it can go up on my website. I hope it helps save some people from the trial and error method of figuring out which size they need. Have a good one.

    TM,

I had this thing and it didn't work for me. Whenever I tried it on a scope, I selected the size it stated and it was always the wrong size. I don't know if the specs have evolved over time or what but I find that the BC chart published by Bushnell (which now owns the Butler Creek brand) even has errors. I just hand fit the caps to each scope and keep a record of it. Maybe I should publish it!

I dunno what's up with that but everything I've used it on has worked out for me. I just tested it earlier using two of my scopes to make sure I got the spacing right and the chart had me going with the BC cap sizes that I've been using on them.
