Hey guys,

first of all, I was looking through the sub-categories for a few minutes trying to figure out the best place to post this. I couldn't find anything fitting so I just went with general discussion, sorry if I missed something.

So as the title says, I am looking for writers passionate about (long-range) shooting and where would be a better place to find them, than in a forum dedicated to the topic.

I am maintaining a medium sized firearm website and unfortunately I lately lack the time to publish enough content to satisfy my following. Therefore I am looking for one or more writers who would be interested in writing a few articles a month for a fair compensation.

Gear reviews, builds, field tests are all things that would be a good fit and that you could write about. I am also always up for other suggestions.

Just drop me a quick pm and we'll have a chat.

Now he knows we are on to his game, and he has not revealed who he is yet. I just love the way he not only wants readers from the hide, he also wants hiders to provide the content.

like Lowlight pointed out the website is in my signature it's not a secret or anything. I also don't want to steal your readers, I doubt we are in the league to be competition for the hide :D also I don't think reading weekly posts can replace the time spend being active in a forum haha

Now that's classic one up man ship. He said nothing about paying anyone. I expect that he payment for services would have been as generous as his payment to the hide for using this forum as a recruitment tool.

It's still a classless move

When I started this site and it continues to this day, I stayed away from all other sites. I do not have accounts on any of them. In the past, people have come on here to poach members because we, or ME, did all the work for you.

I know you don't compete, it's the point of thinking you can walk into my house and invite my friends to stop over at your place beforehand.

Like, the Hide Party starts at 8, so come to the pre-party at 7, then you can go over to Hide. no big deal right

I admit that leaves room for interpretation, but I don't offer anything else besides cash for your time.

Ah man, now it really does look shitty... Please go to the hide at 8 we don't start before 10. I admit I didn't really think this through and I get your point.

I began to feel a hot yearning and stirring in my Toughskins and I felt as if I was I was in a dream, "This couldnt be happening to me" but it was.....

@ACshooting, though I am more known for my post Modern beat poetry than anything resembling Townsend Whelen or Elmer Keith, if you give me a topic I would be happy to give an example and it will be up to you to decide if it may appeal to your target audience.
