Looking to upgrade and looking for input....

Hello All,
I have a Savage TR and am looking to upgrade. I not familiar with higher end 22lr's IE anschutz etc. and am looking for some input. A hide vendor has the 1416 D HB and the 64 MP R. I also saw the BR series at a local gun store.

The gun will be used as a trainer, and for local 22 comps, including bench rest shooting.

So, I am open to all input / options.

Bought my first Anschutz 64 MPR about 6 weeks ago. Extremely accurate, fantastic trigger. I had to put a lace up cheek pad on stock to get good scope alignment and cheek weld.

Put Leupold 8.5-25x50 on DIP 20 MOA rail on it.

First high end 22 lr I have owned in long time.

IMO should be high on your list.

Send it to Scott @ savagegunsmithing.com - about $150 and it will have the potential to shoot in the .1s consistently.

Spend some more $$ on better glass (dunno what you have now) and you'll be ahead in hte money game.

Or you could go for a CZ... But Annies are obviously the top of their class. My vote goes for the 64MPR
