I am in the market for a 1-6 LPVO and was wondering if there are any lpvos with a similar performance to the 1x on the Gen 2 Razors that are also in a similar price range ($700-$1300) to the Razors. I am specifically interested in scopes where the ocular lens disappears on 1x like the Razor. The new Trijicon Credos 1-6 in SFP are looking really good for the price but I have trouble finding actual pictures of looking through the scope and also heard they aren't daylight bright like the Razor.

For Daylight bright (red dot) 1-6 that is not a Razor 1-6, check out Meopta Meostar R2 1-6x24. Street price you can find them for under $1000.
It offers weight savings and a much smoother/faster zoom dial. The R2 is slightly longer with a built in sunshade.

The below reviewers older eyes prefer R2 with BDC3 reticle over his Vortex Razor 1-6 but YMMV.

Check out the Delta Stryker 1-6. I bought one on the dark lord of optic's recommendations and I'm a big fan of it. Performs very similarly to the g2 razor. Here's a pic with mine that shows the ocular disappearing like the razor: . With the credo 1-6's, I hear the HX version with the LED illumination is daylight bright while the one with the accupower style segmented circle is not.

Why not just get a Razor Gen 2? It's right at the top of that price point :)

Honestly, if you want a Razor, why not just get a Razor?
That having been said, the best bang for the buck is probably the Delta Stryker 1-6x24 if you can find one in stock. I really like the one I have.
I am looking at Sig Tango6T 1-6x24 right now and it is a nice scope in the same general vein as the Gen2 Razor, except it has both SFP and FFP models. SFP models with hellfire reticle would be the closest to the Razor.
Athlon Cronus 1-6x24 is along that same vein and also from LOW. Different reticle arrangement though and I do not know if the illumination is as bright.
There are a few Trijicon models, but they lost me a little bit with the branding changes. I am not sure what is new and what is just re-labeled.
Meopta Meostar R2 1-6x24 is excellent, but I think it is more expensive than the Razor.
Geissele has a 1-6x26 LPVO, but I have not tested it.
Leupold has VX-5 1-5x24 and VX-6 1-6x24 with FIredot reticle.

That's the stuff I can think of off the top of my head that's 1-6x24, SFP and with fairly bright reticle illumination. I am sure there are others.

As far as making the ocular disappear at 1x, I don’t think you’re going to beat the razor. Even though my Swaro 1-6 has better FoV at 1x, the ocular doesn’t disappear quite as well as the Razor.

i have a 1-8 credo ffp, from SWFA for around 1k. seems relatively equivalent to the gen 2 razor 1-6, which i also have. reticle is decent. ffp gets rid of the CQB rings (mostly) on high magnification. glass and construction, operation seems good.

How daylight bright is this Credo?

Maybe another one to consider....
