LRF Binos with AB only ?

I am toying with idea of just running the vortex fury 5ks w/ AB as a one stop shop kind of deal.

My goals are to use it for about everything really for PRS, DMR, and ever if I wanted NRL too. Getting a kestrel with this later to boot as well due to the fact of it cannot pull wind or environmentals.

Any advice from those with more experience than I ?

Unless you are looking for a used pair with AB, it will be difficult to find a new one unfortunately. The Vectronix Vector X and Sig Sauer Kilo 10K are higher in price but have Applied Ballistics Elite baked into it - Richard

That is definitely an interesting option at that price.

yeah that’s the only reason im thinking this route currently, since a kestrel + spotting scope would run me more or close to the same

Just watch the px for a used fury 5000 AB. I love mine. Lifetime warranty as well which for electronics is excellent

I use some of the fury for PRS just to check target distance and they do a good job, not the best glass but certainly not bad either. I couldn’t even like the sigs, that blue tint drove me crazy

yeah sadly $1k seems like the “budget” option when in this territory, but good glass costs that much.

This is more so a question before I jump off the deep end into getting a kestrel, spotting scope, etc etc.

Sig kilo 6k gen2 are pretty solid choice, but the AB system only provides solutions to 800y, further will require kestrel integration.
