What they fail to realize is they are college students, not professional athletes. They might be a big deal to the little kids that run around campus on game day, but to me they are just still kids. The fan base doesn't owe them shit, until they prove themselves. And going off to smoke synthetic weed while your teammates are out busting their ass in class and in the gym, is bullshit and self centered. There is no room for someone like that on A TEAM.

That’s it in a nut shell. Self accountability, self discipline and self respect of today is out the window. They (college level athletes like him) think society owes them something because of who they think they are.
Sure, he's a hell of an athlete, a game changer, a mover and shaker, a play maker and ball taker but, no doubt, LSU football will be hurt by his actions. The current teammates that knew, and they did know this was going on, are just as guilty as him. They deserve to share in the loosing this year.
As a whole, they win together or they loose together. That starts at the top and works its way to the bottom with any team. Hopefully, the ones that have worked hard and tried to stay out of trouble wont be penalized too bad. Just for the record, I still don’t like Ole St. Nick of Bama but, he is a hell of a coach.

Anyway, I doubt one man wont bring down the team, LSU is such a tough team.
But at same time, if we had lost Cam, I believe our season would have gone differently in 2010.

It's a shame that a kid like that can't keep his act together. Say what you want but the kid was a play maker and was fun to watch. He'll go somewhere and play next year but I'm willing to bet money he doesn't stay out of trouble long.
