So, "we" did exactly what we do not want govt. doing, shut some one down and get rid of them for being a jerk, saying things we do not like ?

I think it was probably pure annoyance. Personally, if someone is constantly an annoying pain in the ass, I will ban them from my life, often in a socially unfit manner, without empathy or apology. Virtue signaling by patiently allowing dumbasses access to my time is a weak soft girly man move. I also jacked up my mother in law immediately after my wedding. Best thing I even did.

Oh, I didn't even think about the report thing. Does make sense now though. He has posted numerous times how he's not liked here at the Hide and I personally thought it was just part of his bit here. I mean over the last few days he seemed to roll with the punches decently. But yeah, if he spammed the report button because other members hurt his feelings instead of just using the ignore function, that's a quick way to get himself banned instead.

I have never once used the 'report' button here. And while I might ruffle some feathers (duck reference) I've only encouraged folks to take advantage of the "ignore" feature built into this forum.

Snitches get stitches and I'd rather not involve the "management" in the small squabbles I do have with a handful of folks here.
