My good friend just purchaced this rifle and we began load development. When he bought the rifle he had a rifle length stock put on in place of the existing carbine stock. The sales person simply swapped the spring and buffer from one tube to the other. Now we are experiencing hang-ups with 175 SMK's seated to just under mag length. Is this common? Do I need a different spring/buffer? Perhaps I should shorten the OAL?

Could be your mags-- some of the C-Products mags were produced in a manner that caused feeding problems. Check the LWRC forums for more details.

I can't speak to the different spring/buffer.

I'm shooting 175s with no problems.

Re: LWRCI R.E.P.R and feeding issues

I had a weird issue with my 16" REPR. The supplied mag catch wasn't fully engaging my KAC SR25 mags, causing them to fall out and/or cause feeding issues. I pulled the LWRC catch and put in a DPMS LR308 catch - problem solved. There was a few thousands differnce where the actually "catch" was located and thus not fully engaging on the SR25 mags.
