Just an fyi I just picked up my sheild an hour ago and changed all the trigger parts out with the parts from a pro series that we put an apex kit in. So all the parts are interchangable with the full size guns and the apex kit will fit

I've never tried the apex, but never liked the stock M&P trigger.

I have a Shield, and I'm looking at another. I do like the factory Shield trigger.

I'm used to DA/SA Beretta 92s, so I like the factory shield trigger being a little heavier.

Did you install the RAM or was the tactile, audible reset still good after the other parts went in?

Dam computer. you cannot install the ram as the manual safety fills the hole

reset is shorter but has the same feel
