Been experimenting with different leathers and dyes and so will be moving a few of these over the next couple weeks.
The frogs (claws) are surplus as well as the steel connecting ring. Very sturdy. All stitching is done by hand with .8mm polyester thread. Leather is dyed, finished and oiled by me. It started life as Wickett and Craig "American Vachetta" leather. Hardy stuff, 10-12 oz (3/16") thick. Edges are sanded, burnished, and waxed so no fuzzy edges.
Typical Turner sling measurements -- long end is 56 inches.
