M2008 Bolt knob change

You would think you could just goto the store and buy a new knob and just change it... NOT! 2 hours later this is what I got. I really like it better than the old one 1.250 kinda like an AT rifle knob.

It looks good. Does it help with the operation of the bolt, or is it more just for looks? I'm just curious what lead to the change.

Looks good. Where did you find the knob at? Who installed it for you. I would consider one of those for my M2008. I really like your rifle, who built it for you? How does she shoot?

i like the knob too. i have a round steel bolt know on my rem700 bolt but i am liking this larger one. where did you get it?
