M24 Prototype up for grabs

That’s pretty cool. I used to follow them and JSE very closely on GB a couple years ago when the liquidation stuff first started coming to market. They had some cool shit early on then it turned into pages and pages of shotgun receivers.

Very cool, in the same B682 serial number block as the XM24 at the NRA Museum.

That's cool you won it for a great price. Seems like a lot of these types of auctions get a lot of attention and when people post about it, kinda takes away your hope that it falls through the cracks and not seen.

You should have seen the look on my face Saturday morning when I realized I won with my $3200 max bid. After it arrives it will be available for questions and photos if any one wants a closer look.
Those would definitely be appreciated in the M24 thread

Wow, post pics please. That would mean they switched the entire rifle out, that seller doesn't have the ability/ permission to stamp or put Remington markings on anything. Big red flags.

I had a similar issue, but caught it before they shipped. It was for a U.S. marked M24 receiver. I called to verify that they were shipping the exact item in the GB listing. Good thing because it was a different M24 receiver, no U.S. markings. The guy said "what's the difference. They're all the same" I promptly told him to make sure it's the one they listed. They apparently have been clearing pallet-loads of Rem bankruptcy loot. And these people are just hired help, no clue about gun stuff. Definitely not collectors. Total shit show at times. Waited over 2 months to get a PSR component I won on GB.

I sent an angry email…….I’m guessing someone sad we can’t sell this without a model number on the receiver.

I was kinda wondering about that since I’m just pretty sure you’re required to log a model and that needs to be marked on the gun as well.

Call and talk to D, he’s been very helpful and accommodating for me. I’ve bought several of these archive guns from them without issue.
