Its a Remington 700 aac sd chambered in 308. Magpul hunter stock. I tried loading the rounds to mag length and the tips get caught under the action after the first round is ejected. I started to load rounds down to 2.810 to aid in chambering. I'm wanting to shoot the 185 juggernauts and am afraid I'm gonna run out of room in the casing. Anyone got any pro tips. Thank you

If your loading fromAICS mags try cutting the feed lips back with a mill. I did that for a tikka t3 and feeds like a charm. I'm still limited by mag length but feeding is rock solid. It may be that the rounds are longer than your actions opening.

I believe "mag length" for .308 is 2.80" so you're still a bit longer than spec. You should be able to push it to about 2.865" if you're running AICS bottom metal. I load the 168 VLDs to that COAL for my AAC-SD running Badger Ordnance bottom metal and they definitely have to be seated all the way to the rear of the mag or they occasionally hang up on the feed ramp. It's also not unheard of to notch the feed ramp for a little extra clearance.

That's exactly what I need. The rounds are longer than the opening. Can it be down with a dremel? I know that's a dangerous question. I have end mill bits but no mill.

I'd pay a machinist to notch it slightly. That action is hardened steel and all the work is in the fixturing. How do you hold a round action?
