Magnetospeed v2 question

I just opened my new magnetospeed up and when it was hooked up to the bayonet and the display got jiggled it would register a fps? is this normal? Was not hooked to a gun.

I could shake the display and it would register a shot everytime.

Doesn't happen to mine. Like a child I tried waving my hand over it as quickly as possible, I flicked a rubber band etc... but nothing would register. I'd call them.

I tried the same thing but only shaking the display got anything to register
