I just gave my new Magnetospeed V3 a whirl for the first time and loved it. That said, the XFR/app wouldn't sync so I wasn't able to use it. I'm including photos of the error message I got. Have any of you out there experienced a similar issue? If so, how did you correct the problem?

When mine would display that I just hit normal sync again. It might take a few cycles but it would eventually sync.

What do you have your volume set at in the phone? Mine has to be slightly under 50% to connect. A couple other things to check is your case thickness I had to use the extension on my Lifeproof case. Last if it is an Android check the Magnetospeed website for compatibility they have a list of units tested.

Ok. I did attempt it both ways and several times each but I'll give it another try. Very frustrating.
Mine was really acting up and not syncing yesterday. On the Magnetospeed it was displaying "trying to read the memory card" or something like that. After a few attempts I thought I would depress the card so it popped up and disengaged. Plugged the phone adapter back in and it synced with the iOS app first try.

i did read that the volume could be an issue so I tried several settings. It didn't help

Mine is great when it works but it only works about 50% of the time. Few issues but the biggest one is sync issue enough to make me buy a labradar. Btw I am using an iPhone 6s

Yea, me too. It's very frustrating. I mean, I don't "need" the XFR but for it to work less than half the time for such a large number of people is pretty messed up.
