Magpul Hunter Stock Arca Rail

I recently purchased a Magpul Hunter stock for my sons Ruger American .350 Legend. The stock only comes with 2 Mlok slots at the front of the foreend. Has anyone installed a full length arca rail on one of these stocks and if so how did you do it. I am looking at the Sawtooth Rifles rail https://www.sawtoothrifles.com/product/dovetail-rail-m-lok-universal/ Looking at the stock I am tempted to disassemble the foreend and see how hard it would be to mount the rail to it.

Just drill some holes and bolt it onto the foreend. If you use mlock nuts on the back you’ll have to clip the little molding rib to make space for the washer to fit flush.

That's kinda my plan. I just need to get the rail ordered. Once it arrived I will bug my buddy to use his small drill press. I figure I can mount the rail on the 2 included mlok slots then carefully mark and drill the needed holes.
