man am I stupid CCI rebate.

So I looked at the CCI rebate and saw that is stated to submit the rebate by 4/30/19........... Went out and bought 5k worth of CCI standard velocity today Ammo is not returnable at this particular place. Went home to fill out the rebate, and it expired yesterday March 31, 2019. Did not realize that you had a month to send it in. That sucked. Lesson learned.

That sucks. At least you can look forward to shooting a lot of 22LR. I think I remember seeing a $200 limit for the rebate. I bought two cases total, for a $104 rebate. It was actually approved today, but 4 more weeks to see the refund.

On Black Friday I bought a 3K rounds of 9mm Blazer Brass 115g and a 1600rnd Black Pack of Plated .22 rimfire.

Submitted the forms online and hadn't heard anything for a while, called them up and they said they have no record of receiving the rebate forms and as it was 2 days past the rebate submittal period I could not resubmit.

Only time I've ever went shopping on Black Friday, let alone going to a store at 5 f'n a.m.

That's a great price. Standard velocity is my go to ammo. It shoots great in all of my guns.

I called and escalated the situation to a manager/supervisor. They held their position.

That's fine, there's other good practice ammo choices and I have 10K rnds of SV in stock.

You should have received a verification number once you filed for the rebate online.
I've done 6 of them now and can check their status anytime I want, they also send email updates of the process.

The website was obviously over-loaded though it looked like it took the submission when I entered.

As cool as that would be, I sold the idea of several thousand rounds to the wife with the expectation of a rebate check or prepaid Visa card of some kind. She won’t be happy if it’s a voucher for more ammo, but me, on the other hand...
