Man arrested for selling Disney World tickets on craigslist

Those don't look like this guy though. His name isn't mentioned in the articles (John Chapman) and his story took place 9+ years ago.

EDIT: From the video story he didn't create fake tickets for craigslist. Looks like it was illegal to re-sell real tickets at the time. He mentions as of August 2018 the law changed to make it legal. So he got railed for selling real tickets on craigslist he didn't want anymore.

Its been said/heard before I'm sure.

A neighbor is a retired peace officer from that area. He tells me they operate almost like a sovereign city state within Florida.

The guy is a lying sack of shit in the interview. And the motherfucker interviewer needs to do his fucking research. Bullshit! *SPIT*

Been scanning the youtube comments to try and find more info. John replied with this, looks like it was typed on a phone:

"They charged me with "Obtaining Money under false Pretenses" for not being a legal ticketer. As of Aug 2017 (note: he said 2018 in video) it is no longer illegal to resale tickets... However i would throw them away before ever selling.. Just because of what i have been threw. in VA anything over $200 is a felony i sold 6 tickets for 1800.00 so they charged me with 6 felony's. one for each ticket. "

Only thing I can find out about illegal tickets being sold is that it's illegal in FLORIDA. Didn't say about anywhere else. Supposedly they have a big problem with people selling half used tickets, stolen or fake tickets and employee comp tickets.

So I'm assuming it would have had to happen in FL, or in a state where it's illegal. Some states you can scalp tickets right at the front gates. I did that in Nashville after Aerosmith failed show up to a concert twice and said fuck it the third time. It may be illegal there but not enforced (at the time?). Doubt it would've been a felony though.

That it's a felony is just absurd, and that he was even charged after they found out the details is even more outrageous. But that's how gotcha laws work. They're doing that with gun laws now.
