I picked up one of these puppies this summer... used, so no OEM packaging or documents with it, and I can't seem to readily find any kind of user manuals, etc. on Manfrotto's site either. The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to get it to tighten up enough to support a Kowa TSN-821M spotting scope with the main column extended to the side - it keeps wanting to droop down. An 821M should be well under the 5kg / 11lbs that this head is supposed to be rated for...

Anybody have any suggestions or ideas on how to tighten this puppy up?

TIA,

Monte

There is an allen head screw near the tension knob. You can tighten this to allow for more friction on the ballhead
