I have a T4A carbon elite with mini chassis for a R700. Had my 308 bolted in it that functioned flawlessly. I recently had a 223 built up and decided to swap that into the T4A. Using an Accurate 10 round mag I went to seat the mag in it dropped down about 1/4 inch didn't pay much attention to it at the time but when I went to camber a round the bolt went right over the top of the round and would not push it out of the mag. If I press up on the mag it works fine the bolt picks up the round no problem. At first I thought it could be the mag so I bought a 5 and 10 round magazine and still had the same issue. Just wondering if anyone else had the same issue and what did you do to fix it. I talked with my gunsmith and he talked about welding a little extension on it to work with the magazines. my main concern with that is if I decide to go back to a larger caliber with Aics pattern magazine would they be able to seat with that little tab welded on.
