Can I get some user feedback on these? They look like they are an excellent watch for the 500$ price range. Looking to get the TSAR for the tritium. Would like to hear some good about them before I yank the chain on one. Thanks!
i have the gsar(automatic).keeps time well. i have sent it back at least six times thou because the tritum tubes have came loose/off.and i would be ok with that if i was abuseing it , which i am not.
I have the TSAR and it is the most accurate and the toughest watch I own. The tritium is holding up very well. It is my everyday watch that I'm not in court (it is a little large for a dress shirt to fit over) I would not hesitate to recommend it or to make the purchase again.
I had a GSAR without the "US Government" on the face. It was nice enough, kept good time, but was rather small for my sasquatch wrist. If they made an automatic JSAR, I'd be all over it.
the tritium tubes are fine as far as brightness(just like trijicon nite sites).they just have not stayed where they are supposed to.and i was not kidding about not abuseing it. on a side note the brightest i have experienced OTHER than tritium is the PANERAI luminar marina.(alot more loot)its about 85/90% what tritium is.

Tritium is bright in the dark and being able to instantly know the time during nights ops without having to fumble with buttons and what not is a huge +1. I was asking about the Maraglo illumination and how that is. Is it the same ole' that dims to nothing after a little while in the dark or what?
On another note, I noticed the GSAR auto with tritium. Is the automatic movement worth the extra pennies and is it more durable? I don't mind changing a battery every few years.. Decisions,decisions..
