the current metro boys are doing quite well on the kick ass front and not bitching one bit about it, never sell the american boy short no matter how much they try to transform these little fuckers they just give the big finger and go kick ass when the get out of the 12 year indoctrination centers.

If I have hope you all should be giggling and tip toeing through the goddam tulips.

Just when you think about giving up hope on the next generation...

Marines still under NROTC, right?

LOL! uhhh...no.

Glad to see the USMC JROTC program is still going strong (back when I went through it, there were just 86 schools left with it). It's too bad the marksmanship program was pulled from most (if not all) of the schools. It was a good fundamentals based program.

Oh we're talking JROTC? High School? Perhaps I misunderstood.

When I was in AFROTC in college, the Marine program there was integrated with Navy ROTC. I think the Marines had their own cadre and did their own thing internally, but not sure which is why I asked.

Pretty sure he means JROTC. And yes, ROTC is all Navy the first two years, and then the cadets decide (for the last two years) if they intend to go in the Corps or just end up as some Ensign in the Navy.
