Here is an interesting article about Lima 3/7 over in Helmand and how they are dealing with a local enemy sniper.

With the rules as they stand now, the Marines who do catch him will be lucky if they get to taste the chocolate cake the sniper is given as he is limo'd to his first class plane standing by to whisk him away for his medal of honor and 5 star accommodations.

Your probably right! Sad isn't it. I sure hope our Snipers don't have their hands tied.

It really is. Someday it'll get better but I worry that it'll get a lot worse before then...

Send some real Scout Snipers to the high ground with a .50 and LR Binos and Scopes. They will locate and destroy this amateur(I say this because compared to a US Marine Scout Sniper, he is a dilitante with a gun)

Who says anyone has to reptort actually catching the guy? So long as no civilians are around to see, and Private Snuffy knows to STFU and stay STFU everything is cool. Just make sure Snuffy gets a kick in too
