Rifle Scopes Mark IV 8.5-25 deal

My Local shop has a used one of these for $950 that just came in. I did not check if it was FFP or not but it has M1 .25 MOA turrets and a non illuminated TMR. I had been saving for a 5.5-22 nightforce, but I could get this right now...

I wonder if i am just being cheap, so I may need someone to talk me out of it.

For that price, you couldn't go wrong. Try it out for awhile, if it doesn't float your boat, you could certainly sell it for what you have in it. I have the MarkIV 6.5-20X 50 and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. The TMR is a damn good reticle and I'd guess it's a SFP.

Just picked up the same model for the same price, and I think it's a hell of a nice scope for the money. As others have stated, it should hold its value so you could sell it at little/no loss if for some reason it doesn't float your boat.

excellent price, quality optics. strong buy! If you don't pull the trigger, point me at the target. My Mark IV 8.5-25 with M5 turrets is a keeper, and I could use a second scope.
