The little piece of spring steel that holds the ejector in place and in tension broke on my 39-A. I called and spoke to the people at MidwayUSA and they sent me a spring. However, it was not correct. I have looked at several sites and do not see anything like what it was.

Below are pictures of the bolt and ejector. If you could tell me or lead me to some place I could find the replacement part.

Thanks in advacne. This rifle was given to me by my dad and I want it up and running for the little boy to shoot.

Re: Marlin 39-A ejector Spring (Part Number help)

Which spring (part #) would be the correct one?

Gun smiths? I already have two springs that do not fit, and for $1 - $4 it is not worth shipping it back.

Thanks for the site.

A) If that doesn't work, call Numrich Arms.

B) I once made a very similar spring for my High Standard pistol out of part of a bobby pin. Still working nearly 20 years later.

C) Are you sure that's the ejector? I'm wondering if it might be an extractor. Especially if they sent you a coil spring.
