Marlin 880 SQ

Just picked up a NIB Marlin 880 SQ today.

Cut 3/4 turn off the trigger return spring
Dropped a single ball bearing (from my NECO moly lube jar) into the hole in the sear underneath where the sear spring sits.

All I can say is - WOW! What a difference in the trigger. Fantastic mod.

I'll get pics up tomorrow.

Any measurement on the pull weight, before and/or after?

Before: 7 lbs

After: 3.5 lbs ( no creep and it just breaks clean)

It's always nice when the trigger isn't heavier than the rifle.

Nice mod, consider the mods posted over on rimfirecentral, there's a bunch more to do.
