Range Report Maximum Expansion round.

Hoping that this is the right place to post this. Just wanting to show a pic of a new HD round. They will be available for market soon. This is a .45 that was shot into water. Just wondering what you think of it. Thanks.

.45 9mm are available. .40 .357sig 44mag .38/.357 .32 & .380 are coming soon. Several rifle calibers are going to be available also.

Hot damn.. that would make a nice hole. Questions would be if this is going to be loaded in factory ammo?... How often did you get this sort of expansion?... Lets see some pics of this hitting ballistics gelatin too.

I would like to see some of these that were fired into ballistic gelatin. I presume that the "pedals" will be completely torn from the bullet base effectively creating five separate projectiles. Depending on how fast it typically opens up, it may tend to create shallow "splash" wounds. Would be interested to see some more testing.

Would be nice to see complete standarized (FBI) gel tests with intermediate barriers.

After closer inspection of the above bullet the top petal is showing signs of tearing. This was after being shot into water, which slows and stops bullets quickly. I also bet shot into gelitan those petals would fold back or tear off. Ofcourse if they are on the upper part of the bullet and the base enough retained weight it would continue to penitrate deeper. More test pics please.
