Maxpedition Falcon ll pack question

Re: Maxpedition Falcon ll pack question

Im not familiar with the 5.11 but i do have the falcon II. The maxpedition is a little stiff cause the material is thick but I love it and will probably buy another soon. It doesent loosen up much but collapses well. Hope this Helps

+1 on these points. It is rather 'stiff' but right off the shelf I had no problem expanding and collapsing it. I rather like mine.

Re: Maxpedition Falcon ll pack question

Actually, I disagree that the reason Maxpedition gear is stiff is due to the high quality material they use. In fact, Eagle, ESSTAC, Tac. Tailor, HSGI, Spec Ops, etc. all use high quality material (usually 1000d nylon), and none of them are stiff like Maxpedition gear.

Their gear is well made, but I personally can't stand the feel of the material.
