Just heard there is an immigration protest this weekend in KY.

AG was just on the radio stating to wit....

"We understand people will be bringing weapons to the protest and we acknowledge that is their right to do so."


Granted he is speaking the truth but I find it odd that if he has gas and fire on the same shelf he is not giving a strongly worded warning that anyone that abuses their rights will be stomped into dust.

It's almost like he just put an ad out saying it's game on.

Id think he would be saying he didnt want either side coming to his AO.

Sure recognize the right to freely express ideas and dissent, as well the Second amendment will be respected, but he had better lay down some serious vibes that violence will not be tolerated.

The diplo speak I heard was exactly the opposite of that.

From what he didnt say it almost seems tacit approval.

Anyone from that area have an idea of what this protest is expected to be like?

Couldn't find his statement but I see he got his pee-pee slapped last week for denying some sort of protest.

I guess once burned twice shy.

So he got censured for not allowing an excercise of one right I guess now he is lassaiz faire in regards to all rights.

Thats just silly, AJ. Justice is only dead if we say it is and I say it lives. At least in my AO. Justice could be anything from a hot and a cot to a scewbos.

The Constitution IS the law. The amendments are the fine print. The rest is mechanics.

had to buy my kid a new bat due to some rules change in youth baseball and as we looked through the aluminum bats I was lusting after the wood bats.

Thats when I noted a bunch were maple.

I think its batter preference, I dont know.

Wish the league would mandate the kids use wood.

Sure they wont last as long but for the price an aluminum bat cost you could buy a few wood ones a season.

The only thing Canada should make with its wood is dildos and they can have Trudeau test each and every one..........before sanding.

Aluminum bats just have the dinky sound. Somehow I cant get used to "The dink of the bat."

I do understand why they use aluminum in the little league...it wont shatter like wooden bats.

Which makes me wonder about the wooden bats. I know wood. Hickory is much denser and harder than maple and I would think less likely to splinter. Maybe splintering bats is good for sales in major league parks.

I was surprised how many boutique shops are producing wood bats.

Shit you can buy seconds off Ebay in groups of ten for cheap money.

We used hickory for our floors during remodel. Beuatiful wood. First thing anyone comments on when they come in the house.

Not much more than oak and it came in 4 inch x 3/4 boards. nicer than the typical 2 inch oak flooring.
