Anyone have a pic of a build with a game scout stock, and what is your opinion on the game scout.

Great crossover stock for hunting if you're used to an A series style grip. I put one on my daughters rifle and I really like it!

    Love the game Scout

Thank you for the input on the game scout.Good looking rifle bro, what color pattern in the stock.Looks like one of there ambush colors.

It's a great stock. Needs a little more cheek height for larger scopes, but I like it.

A budy of mine has a game scout and he uses the triad stock pack and it is a really nice shooter. He has a 50mm obj mounted pretty close to the barrel

nice. Did McM inlet it for you? They told me the CTR DBM was too wide.

Bought it used, so I'm not sure who did the inlet. The bottom metal is a hair too wide to fit 100% on the bottom of the stock, but there's plenty of meat left and it doesn't look weird to me. Shoot me a PM if you want some more pics.

Thx. One of our long action DBM models is patterned off the CTR footprint but uses TRG 42 mags instead of the trg 22 mags. I hand inlet my game Scout and it's just a touch wide too but doesn't look weird to me either.

I personally prefer the manners EH1. Game scout is pretty dainty with low comb hight.

if it has to be McMillan, I'd get adjustable comb or they have a new one out this year with a monte Carlo back (higher comb) and game warden forend.

Mcmillan has a problem with low comb heights on all their stocks. I guess they think we're all shooting with irons.

Have one for a Rem. Varmint contour BA on in the works, that's about the heaviest a GameScout will take. The 'shoulders' of the barrel channel are very thin on the RV contour GameScout. A Game Warden would be a better matchup for anything much over a #4...

You got some sweet looking rifles,I guess you like the game scout. That groundhog must have dropped in his tracks. Thanks for the pics.

Looks like your a fan of the game scout.I noticed you don't use a cheek pad with your game scouts,Do you get a good cheek weld without the pad.I love the color patterns you have on your stocks.

These pics were all taken a while ago. Actually they all wear Triad Stock packs. The low comb never bothered me too bad, but the Triads are an improvement.
