Mcree's Precision Mag + Chassis: Tough loading first round?

I've been running a Mcree's precision chassis and 5 round mag for a couple of months now and have noticed that with a full magazine, it's very hard to load the first round from the magazine. For comparison, I've noticed that in YouTube videos it looks really easy to cycle the bolt on a full mag. Is it common with all 5-rounders, or just mine? Is there anything I can do do make it easier? I'm not really worried about it scratching brass, it's just annoying that I have to shift my position just to strip off the first round.

I drop a round in the chamber, load a full five round mag and shoot it with no trouble. Might just be your mag.
